Botanical Name- Pyrus malus

Family Name- N.O. Pomaceae

Other Name - Wild Apple, Malus communis

Description

It is an ordinary and small tree . It can grow upto thirty foot.. The leaves are simple, oval saped with twelve centimster long andsix centimeter broad. Cider Apples may be considered as a step in development from the Wild Apple to the Dessert .It contains water, proteid or nitrogenous material, carbonaceous matter, including starch and sugar, of acids and salt and sugar.organic acids, malic acid and gallic acid, and an abundance of salts of both potash, soda,, magnesium, and iron. etc. Apples are a highly nutritious and cleansing fruit, as well as a good source of vitamins A and B 1; they are also rich in a number of minerals including potassium, calcium, phosphorus and sodium, and the bioflavonoid quercetin. In addition, they contain malic and tartaric acids, which inhibit gastric fermentation and bacteria proliferation in the digestive tract.The fruit is sweet and sour it depend on the varities. The chief dietetic value of apples lies in the malic and tartaric acids

In addition, apple juice is very cleansing for the liver and gall bladder.The leaves are useful for wounds, cuts,bleeding and other skin condtionsThe whole plant is useful for intestinal problems. How to use in different diseases

The decoction is useful for fever, diarrhea, dysentery and diabetes. It should be taken one to two teaspoonfuls twice a day.The ointment is to treat rough skin. As a poultice is helpful in sore eye. An infusion is helpful in rheumatism, gout and urinary problems,fever,malaria. The new Apple is wealthy in vitamins, and it is the most important of the anti-scorbutic fruits for relieving scurvy. The juice is useful in stomach condition such as constipation, stomach pain and other conditions. The decomposed apple is to treat eye sore, redness, itching, infection and inflammations .The resin of the root is to treat in warts. In reasonable doses, it is a radical purgative with several cholagogue action. The whole plant is main use in diarrhea and they are regarded as having a purification power on the liver, colon, spleen and kidney. As tea form is useful this plant in , cough, headache, treat nausea,fever,vomiting , flu and sore throat . The decoction of the leaves are useful in urine problems, arhrities and rheumatism condition such as pains, inflammations, etc

Dose and Preparations

  • Decoction- 5 to 10ml

  • Ointment- Twice daily
